Dewalt Trim Router

Note the removable Plastic shield Slid into some 1"x1" aluminum extrusion
cut in half and mounted to the top edge of the machines table top. This keeps
anything your dust collection misses from flying off the table.

I have selected to drill and tap 1/4" holes in my table top at regular intervals
for applying conventional Hold Downs. I create a disposable "Swill Board" using the
same G-Code. This protects my table top as well as my tooling.

I also use a few Vacuum Jigs. They also get held down by mechanical Clamps.

Look very closely at that 0,0 corner. I have installed a fixed Fence along the "X"
axis, and installed a Flanged and Hardened Socket to accept a tapped 1/4" Dowel
Pin in the table top. The forward edge of the pin represents "X" Zero. It is easily
pulled out for Longer work that must slide farther under the Gantry.
